Nippon Waterproof Paint - WP100

Description:

Nippon WP 100 waterproof paint is a waterproofing agent for cement and concrete structures such as terraces, floors, walls, water tanks, toilet floors, and more. It prevents water penetration from top to bottom for horizontal surfaces and provides waterproofing from the front for vertical surfaces. It can also be used as plaster.

Characteristics:

• Color: Hazy
• Finish: Ivory white when using white cement, dark gray when using normal cement

Application process:

PREPARATION

• Surface must be clean, dry, and stable
• Remove unstable paint film, dirt, mortar, fungus, and mold with high-pressure water or a suitable scraper
• If the wall is too dry and the surfaces absorb water, moisten with clean water before applying WP 100 paint

CONSTRUCTION METHODS

• Use a brush or roller to apply the paint onto the wall
• Apply 3 layers

CONSUMED AMOUNT OF PAINT:

Theoretically 2-2.5ms/kg/one layer (depending on the desired thickness)

MIXING INSTRUCTION:

Prepare the waterproofing mixture according to the following ratio:

• 0.5 liters of water
• 1kg of white cement
• 1 kg of WP 100 waterproofing
• 0.5 liters of water
• 1kg of normal cement
• 1 kg of WP 100 waterproofing

Mix cement into water and blend well to eliminate lumps, then combine the mixture with WP 100 waterproof paint and stir again. The mixture should be used within 2 hours, as it will solidify after this time. Blend well before use.

DRY TIME:

• Surface drying: 1 hour/layer at 30 degrees Celsius
• Use after 7 days from the day of applying WP 100 waterproofing

TRANSITION TIME:

Minimum 6-8 hours under normal conditions.

CLEANING STAGE:

Wash tools with clean water immediately after use.

WARRANTY:

• Close the lid tightly
• Store in a cool, dry, and ventilated place
• Keep temperatures between 5-40 degrees Celsius

NOTE:

• Limit application when the temperature is below 10 degrees Celsius and the humidity is above 85%
• Avoid direct contact with the paint
• Use appropriate protective equipment
• Do not apply WP 100 waterproofing on oil-based waterproofing surfaces or smoothed floors. For small cracks, apply 3 layers of WP 100 waterproofing
• For large cracks, widen them in a V shape and re-plaster the surface with a mixture in the ratio of 3 sand - 1 cement - 3 WP 100 waterproofing paint before applying
