Structure of Kimar Screw Air Compressor:

1. Compressor head: Responsible for compressing air from low pressure to high pressure and circulating cooling oil throughout the machine.
2. Main motor: Typically a 3-phase motor with a frequency of 50Hz in the oil screw compressor structure.
3. Oil separator: Where the mixture of gas and oil is placed by the compressor.
4. Minimum pressure valve: Creates pressure in the oil separator to allow oil circulation during engine idling.
5. Inlet air filter: Removes impurities and dust before entering the compressor.
6. Inlet valve: Helps the compressor change running speed and prevents oil from overflowing into the air filter when the machine stops working.

Principle of Kimar Screw Air Compressor:

• Operates on the principle of articulation, where the volume of the chambers changes during the matching process.
• The two screws rotate in opposite directions during operation. The suction and compression process occurs accordingly.
• When the screws rotate rapidly, air is drawn into the shell through the inlet and compressed between the teeth in the air chamber between the screws. The compressed air is then discharged through the outlet. The inlet and outlet ports open and close automatically as the screw rotates.
• A check valve is installed at the outlet of the screw air compressor to prevent air flow reversal and ensure that the air flows in a specific direction, avoiding compressed air leakage.
