1. Applications of wood chips:

Main material for plywood production:

Wood chips, made from crushed wood waste, are mixed with other materials and specialized adhesives. They are then pressed under high temperature to create wooden planks.

Raw material for wood pellet production:

Wood chips with low moisture content, low ash, and high heat output are used as a substitute for traditional fuels.

Burning material:

Wood chips, crushed from wood waste, are an ideal fuel source, cheaper than natural wood but easy to ignite and generate high heat.

Raw material for pulp production:

Wood chips are ground to produce pulp, the main raw material for paper production. The high demand for pulp in Japan and China has led to a significant demand for wood chips in these countries.

2. Process of producing wood chips:

Wood material extraction or purchase:

Acacia wood is mainly harvested and meets specific criteria such as age (4 years or more) and circumference (greater than 30cm).

Cleaning of wooden logs:

Raw materials are weighed using an electronic scale. The logs are then put into a tree barking machine to remove the tree's epidermis according to the specified standards. After peeling, the raw wood is transferred to the wood chipper via a conveyor belt.

Screening and storage of wood chips:

Chips that meet the requirements in terms of size and appearance are transferred to the chipyard using a conveyor system.
Large chips that do not meet the size requirements are sent back to the wood chipper for further processing until they fit the standard sizes. Once they meet the requirements, they are transferred to the storage yard.
Sawdust and wood waste that do not meet the requirements are sent to the disposal site.
