HDPE WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE

1. Introduction:

HDPE waterproofing membrane stands for High-density polyethylene. It contains 97.5% virgin plastic, with the remaining 2.5% consisting of carbon black, heat stabilizer, and UV resistant materials. HDPE is non-toxic and can be used as a fresh water tank.

2. Applications of HDPE waterproofing membrane:

Most commonly used for lining the bottom of domestic and industrial landfills to prevent the absorption of toxic and harmful substances into underground water, which can be harmful to people living near landfills.
Used to cover landfills to prevent rainwater, bacteria, and bad odors from affecting the surrounding environment.
Used for waterproofing landscape works, such as golf courses and landscape lakes in parks.
Used for lining the bottom and roof of shrimp and fish ponds to create an ideal environment.
Used for lining the bottom of industrial wastewater reservoirs, such as slag waste plants, chemical plants, and fertilizer plants. The design of the HDPE waterproof membrane will depend on the corrosiveness of the industrial wastewater and the presence of microorganisms, in order to increase the lifespan of the project.
Used for lining the bottom and covering the biogas cellar in livestock farms. For the bottom lining, it is recommended to use a 0.5mm to 1.0mm HDPE waterproofing membrane to prevent waste from being absorbed into the underground water. For the top coat, a 1.5mm to 2.0mm HDPE waterproof membrane with good UV resistance is recommended, as it is directly exposed to sunlight.
