Characteristics of Arabica coffee

Shape: Arabica coffee beans have an elliptical shape, with a wavy groove in the middle.

Colour: When unroasted, Arabica coffee has a lighter colour compared to Robusta coffee. The green colour of Arabica coffee has a slightly grey hue.

Caffeine content: Arabica beans contain approximately 0.8-1.5% caffeine.

Taste: Arabica coffee has a sour taste, but it is not completely sour. It leaves a mildly bitter aftertaste when swallowed.

Aroma: Arabica has a very sweet and soft aroma. After being brewed, Arabica coffee exhibits various attractive aromas such as floral, fruity, and chocolate. Depending on the farming land and climate, Arabica coffee can have different characteristic aromas, such as toasted bread, fruit, or honey.
