Formwork plywood is made by putting a film coating on both sides following the WBP glue-assisted pressing of all the wood veneer plywood layers. As a result, the board has a smooth, shiny, and durable surface that can be used in construction. The most common types of wood are eucalyptus, rubber wood, and acacia.

There are mainly two kinds of glue:
The covering, which serves to generate smoothness, lessen scratches, and protect the board while in use, is made of water-resistant phenolic bonded paper.
The hardness, longevity, and bearing capacity of plywood are all determined by its core.
