Laminate veneer lumber, or LVL plywood, is an industrial wood made up of numerous thin veneer layers bonded together with melamine or phenolic adhesive and oriented parallel to the direction of the wood grain. Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, Magnolia chevalier, and other woods with a consistent structure make up the products core, which contributes to its great aesthetic quality.
Its structure allows for great durability, high bending strength, and ease of bending. Because of this characteristic, LVL is a popular choice for frame systems, boards, beams, and edge materials. This plywood is widely used in high-rise building projects, building construction, and to make frames and beams for residential buildings.
