OKOUME PLYWOOD

Okoume plywood is made from the Okoume tree, a type of African hardwood known as Aucoumea Klaineana. This wood is only available in Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Congo. The Okoume tree can grow to heights of over 3.4 meters and has tightly arranged trunks.

Okoume plywood has a light red tint and a smooth, straight texture with minimal ripples. Its lightweight nature makes it ideal for constructing racing boats. It can also be used to make protective walls, furniture for the home, and kitchen cabinets.
