MAGNETIC HEATING STIRRER, TEMPERATURE PROBE RSM 05H

Description:

A magnetic stirrer is a laboratory equipment that uses magnetic force to stir solutions.

For example, a magnetic stirrer can use rotating magnetic force to spin a magnetic bar, which is a magnet wrapped in plastic. When the magnetic stirrer is turned on, we place the stirring bar into the solution to be stirred. As the stirring bar slowly rotates, it creates a force that causes the fluid to flow. The magnetic force that rotates the solution is placed directly below the container containing the solution.

The magnetic stirrer can be used with a heating resistor, known as a magnetic stirrer with heat. Additionally, a thermographic recording sensor can be attached, which is directly connected to the stirrer and displayed on an LCD screen.

Specification:

  • Stirring speed: 100 - 1500 rpm
  • Stirring position: 1
  • Stirring volume: 20 liters (H2O)
  • Ambient temperature range: up to 550 °C
  • Heating speed: 6 K/min/1 liter of H2O
  • Adjustable temperature: 100 - 580 °C
  • Maximum stirring bar size: 80 mm
  • Display shows stirring speed/temperature: LCD
  • Sample table: glass ceramic
  • Table size: 184 x 184 mm
  • Durable brushless motor
  • Control of stirring speed and temperature: graduated knob
  • Heating capacity: 1000 W
  • Temperature controller with thermocouple PT1000
  • HOT alert displayed on LCD when temperature is above 50 °C
  • Environment: 5 - 40 °C, 80% RH
  • Dimensions (W x D x H): 215 x 360 x 112 mm
  • RS 232 connection
  • Weight: 4.4 kg
  • Power supply: 220V, 50/60Hz, 1050W

Advantages:

  • Compact, flexible, and easy to clean. The solution is not contaminated as only the stirring bar directly contacts the sample.
  • Magnetic stirrers are suitable for samples that require long stirring times, do not make noise, do not require lubrication for the shaft axis like roller stirrers, and are suitable for small sample sizes. However, they are not suitable for samples with high viscosity, such as paint.
  • Magnetic stirrers are classified as follows:
    • Magnetic stirrer without heating
    • Magnetic stirrer with heating
    • Light-duty magnetic stirrer
    • Heavy-duty magnetic stirrer
    • Magnetic stirrer with battery
    • Gas turbine stirrers
