PCR in general and realtime PCR in particular are amplified DNA reactions (polymerase chain reaction).
In PCR technique after amplifying the target gene segment, the experimenter must continue to do a number of steps to read the results and determine if there are amplified products by electrophoresis technology (using electrophoresis machines), or use hybrid experiments with specific probes to see if the amplified product contains the desired product.
The PCR technique requires a post-amplification analysis phase called the classical PCR technique using a PCR device, also known as a thermocycler.
