- Level 2 protective clothing mainly serves individuals operating in low-infectious environments, without direct contact with the source of infection.
- For the purpose of Covid-19 prevention, level 2 protective clothing is mainly used for people working in the F1 isolation place, not safe for the F0 isolation place, and only for long-distance contact, not for close contact.
- The protective clothes have 4 levels, corresponding to 4 different levels of protection, ability to limit the penetration of bacteria and lets, including Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4. Each level will have standards for testing, corresponding to different materials and designs.
- The level 2 protective clothing all passed the waterproof standard AATCC 42 and AATCC 127. The materials used are PP (polypropylene) 30g plus cover 15g of 1 PE layer is 45g/square meter to completely block water from penetrating the cloth. It may be required to be thicker (60g or more), but increased thickness reduces ventilation, making it easier to heat.
- Level 2 is similar to level 1, using AATCC 42 test but requires water-proof ability higher than level 1 (≲ 1.0g).
