A magnetic stirrer is a laboratory equipment that uses magnetic force to stir solutions.
For example, a magnetic stirrer can use a rotating magnetic force to spin a stirring bar, which is a magnet wrapped in plastic. When the magnetic stirrer is turned on, we place the stirring bar into the solution that needs to be stirred. As the stirring bar rotates, it creates a force that causes the fluid to flow. The magnetic force that rotates the solution is placed directly below the container holding the solution.
The magnetic stirrer can be used with a heating resistor, known as a magnetic stirrer with heat, and a thermographic recording sensor can be attached to it. The sensor is directly connected to the stirrer and the readings are displayed on an LCD screen.
