History of Air Transport
Air transport has been known for over 114 years. On December 17, 1903, the first airplane flight in human history was made by inventors Orville and Wilbur Wright (USA). This marked a groundbreaking step in aeronautics, and the rapid development of air transport has greatly facilitated international trade.
However, air transport costs more than other methods of transportation. Therefore, it is mainly used for small shipments (such as electronic chips) and not for oversized items. Air transport is suitable for cargo packages in cartons that are no longer than 1.4 meters. It is also used for cases that require urgent delivery, perishable goods (such as vegetables and fresh products), or items that are lightweight but high in value (such as precious metals and high-value property).
Unlike sea transport, air transport has certain limitations. Inflammable goods (such as weapons and ammunition) or items that are imbalanced for flying (such as acids and liquid products) have specific shipping conditions or cannot be transported by air.
The responsibility for air transport depends on the agreement in the foreign trade contract regarding delivery terms (based on Incoterms 2010). If the delivery term is CPT (Carriage paid to), CIP (freight and insurance paid to), EXW (receiving goods at the seller's warehouse), or FCA (Free Carrier), the seller is responsible for shipping by air. If the delivery term is different, such as DAP (Delivered at Place) or DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), the buyer is responsible for air transport. Mison Trans provides air transport services based on the terms of delivery, including transport from airport to airport, from the seller's warehouse to the buyer's airport (Door to Airport), or from the seller's warehouse to the buyer's warehouse (Door to Door).
Air transport services are a core offering of Mison Trans during this integration period. Mison Trans is a cargo agent for many international airlines, providing all-inclusive air transport services with a wide range of flight options to most countries and regions worldwide. In addition to offering more choices, Mison Trans provides multimodal transport solutions, combining air transport with sea transport and road transport, to ensure quick and cost-effective transportation. We take responsibility for various logistics services, from the sender to the airport or the buyer's warehouse, including airport to airport, door to airport, airport to door, and door to door.
